How it works?
How does it work?
1) You stick the QR-code to anything.
2) You scan the QR-code and a page of that code is linked to your account. You can fill it out and edit it.
3) Now the item or place you pinned the code to has its own interactive website where you can communicate, post photos, videos, information, conduct surveys.
4) Anyone who scans the code pinned to you can find out information about the item.
In addition, if you specify the tags when creating the page - your page can be found through the directory (if you check the "show in directory" on the edit page).

Q&A:
• What's it all for?
We keep memories, notes, plaques, we make art, we complement urban spaces. FCECF is your unique individual signature.
I make paintings out of wood I want each of my works, even outwardly similar to others, to be unique in some way, so that each person who receives what I have made knows that it was made by me and for them.
So that the person could share their emotions with me.
At first I thought to simply create a separate page for each work on my site, but then I realized that there are millions of us and it would be genius to create a common site and a catalog of all our creations.
QRTRQ was conceived as an interactive artist signature, but you can use it however you want. I'm sure you'll find lots of great uses for QRTRQ.
• Where to get the codes?
You can buy codes from these sites:
USA
ETSY EBAY
France
ETSY EBAY LEBONCOIN
Russia
AVITO
• How long does a code last?
The code has no expiration date. If we printed it, it will last as long as our site exists.
Even if the carrier code is destroyed - you can always reprint the code or order it from us.
• Can I edit a page after it is created?
Yes, of course, the page is completely yours, you can edit the page, upload and delete photos, use youtube, read and, write comments whenever you want.
• And how long will my page exist?
We will do our best to make it last forever.
• You can only buy the code of the page?
Not only that. You can create your own page through the create button up there. The only difference between purchased and created code is that created code always works (we do not remove it because it has a physical carrier) and created code stops working when you remove the page. The code is random letters and numbers after the address: qrtrq.com/Gcv5sJ...
• Your sticker - how long does it last?
We do different types of stickers.
- Indoor and home use stickers - laser printed and laminated - they should last an average of 5 years indoors. After that, there's a chance the glue will weaken.
Printed code will stay readable for much longer, decades.
- Vinyl stickers for the street, should last at least 2 years in the sun.
The most durable medium known to mankind is clay plaques :) if you want we will make clay plaques, they last at least 5000 years without losing data.
In the store we will specify more detailed data.
• Where can we put them and where not?
You bought the stickers, we cannot be responsible for them, so please do not stick them where they will disturb someone or spoil the view.
• Can I donate codes to a friend?
No problem, as long as the codes are not activated, you can give them as a gift and pass them on.
Once a code has been scanned and a page has been created, it stays with the account that scanned it.
• Is it possible to transfer the created page to another owner?
So far, this is not possible, but we are thinking about it. Go here if you think this service is needed.
• They stuck me with the code, but I don't agree with what it says!
I found a bad page, what should I do?
Complain. On the page you disagree with, click the complaint icon. Leave a comment to whoever glued it. Just take down the bad code if that's your area.
Moderators check your complaints regularly.
• How long will this service and my page exist?
We are going to keep the pages as long as the service exists, and our main goal is to preserve and develop QRTRQ
• I created my page with the "+Add Page" button, how do I get the code now?
Your QR-Code is displayed directly on your page - we will soon make a button to order a sticker or even a table for this code.
In the meantime you can generate the code for your page by yourself, print it or produce it in another way.
The peculiarity of code generation is that the codes leading to the same page may have a completely different look, this is normal.
• What should I do if my code has been torn?
Your page remains in your profile. You can reprint the code for your page yourself, or order it from us (we'll add this feature soon).
• Can I see who visited my page?
Right now only view counter is available, every time your pageviews increase it by +1. But counter counts only pageviews.
In the future, we will add more features.
• Can I delete the page?
Yes.
- If you delete a page that was created with button "create page" - this page will disappear forever and after very(very)many years its address may be taken by another page.
- If you delete a page that was created by our physical code (sticker, plaque, medal) in this case only the text and the fixation of the page to the account is deleted. If you scan the code again from the physical media (which we released) - the site will offer to create the page again with that address.
• I deleted a page, can it be restored?
No, the deleted page loses its information anyway. It may have been indexed by search engines or Time Machine and they will save something, but the information is lost to the site.
When a page is deleted, the data, text, comments and images disappear, the media with the codes remain.
In theory we have backups of the site, but in practice it will be VERY difficult to recover the data.
• Catalog, what is it? How does it work?
If you checked the checkbox "show in directory" when you created the page, then your page can be found by its tags or by words in its text. Tags are what your page is about. For example:
"France", "Middle Ages", "Castles". Or "Landmarks," "Red," "New York," or "DIY," "wood," "animals." Feel free to experiment with search and add your tags when creating your page!
• My page can't be found if it's "not in the directory"?
Any page of yours can be found even if it doesn't show up in the directory - a direct link to the page is always possible.
The chance of finding simply by guessing your page on the site, if it is not in the directory is very small. It is about 1 in 430.804.206.899.405.824 (1 to 430 quadrillion), but you should still not use qrtrq to keep really important secrets.
• Who added my tags? I want to delete them! And what are the tags anyway?
If your page is displayed in the directory - it is possible that our moderators will add tags to it according to the meaning.
If you think they're wrong, just delete them. Tags are what your page is about.
